Dean Lessei came to the PAC to do an all day Muay Thai fight camp.There was a great turn out from team all over the midwest! We would like to thank all
the fighters that came to Peoria and thanks Dean for putting on another awesome fight camp! Here are some photos from the event.....

5/10/08-
Megaton Dias came to Champaign this weekend for a seminar. It was a great seminar where he showed us some pretty awesome stuff!
If you don't know who Megaton is you better look him up. The guy is a legend in the BJJ community.
This is where we get our BJJ knowledge from.... Jack is Megatons black belt.
Speaking of black belts we want to send out a HUGE congrats to Brad Peplow
on receiving his BLACK BELT from Jack and Megaton this weekend!!!
Brad is the head BJJ instructor and owner of the Peoria Athletic Club.
Pep has been working at this for 14 years! He is a great guy and one heck of
a BJJ player and teacher. So we would like to congratulate Pep on being the
first central Illinois Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu!!!

Will Link was promoted to blue belt.
Dan Rob was promoted to blue belt.
Brian Heffner was promoted to purple belt and is probably the best looking man in jiu-jitsu today.
Ryan Prouty was promoted to purple belt.

2/09 and 2/10/08-
Jack McVicker came up to Peoria for a two day seminar in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Jack went over many techniques and as usual Jack did an excellent job at teaching some
great moves in BJJ and also some great fundamentals. It's always a pleasure to have Jack to the PAC. Without Jack there is no BJJ in Peoria! There were a couple promotions
and a few strips handed out this weekend. Here are a few pictures from the seminar.......

11/19/07-
PAC's Brazilian Jiu-jitsu fighters Scott "Kong" Olson and Shaun "Battery" Antrin were awarded their purple belts from Megaton Dias and Jack McVicker this weekend.
They are both very tough competitors and worked VERY hard for those belts so please send them a big congrats!
10/29/07-
A big congrats is in order to the PAC fighters that went 4-0 at the Hive MMA Evolution show Saturday night.
Dave Gaston won by 2nd round KO (and we are talking out cold).
Greg Tudor won by TKO in the first round in an overwhelming fashion.
Dorian Mosack won by TKO after the first round when his opponent couldn't answer the bell for the second round.
Shaun Antrim brings the Welterweight Belt to the PAC after a 5 round war against a very sound Peter Grimes (Team Miletich) in which Shaun dominated and got a 5th rd UD.

Our own MMA instructor Billy Stamp made it into the next round of the IFL (International FIght League) draft that was held in Schaumberg, IL over the weekend. This is a huge deal and we
are proud that one of own has a HUGE opportunity like this! We'll keep you posted on how Billy does in the draft.
